Enrollment for this course isn’t open yet — we’re finishing the coursework and won’t sell it until every posted hour is there. Our 8-Hour Pre-Assignment course is enrolling today, with in-person classes in Santa Rosa.
If you're currently registered, you most likely qualify for a 32-hour continuing education renewal — the fastest legal path. If your card already expired, the options below explain which path applies to you.
If your card is currently valid, you renew with continuing education. If it's expired, your path depends on how long it's been. The two paths below explain which one applies to you.
Your guard card is valid (or expired less than 3 years ago) and you're renewing with continuing education hours. Fastest legal path.
Less than 3 years? Most guards still qualify for renewal. More than 3 years? Typically a start-over with new-guard training. We’ll help you work out which path applies before you pay.
Most guards finish renewal in 1–3 days. BSIS typically processes renewal in 1–2 weeks, but you can keep working as long as your current card hasn't expired.
Once you're a student, we automatically email and text you 60 days before your card expires — with the right course already loaded and a discount code attached. Renewal becomes a 5-minute task, not a fire drill.
8 hours, self-paced, $34 — and we'll never let you miss the next cycle either.
